ID-1049: Alwen

A hardy and tolerant gelding that does not react much to environmental stimuli (eg. loud sounds, predators (to some extent)) and can handle various weather types just fine. Alwen, also called Ace, is a gift from the emperor himself to the handler/rider Aeron, who takes great care of Ace. The gelding is friendly and enjoys treats, but can be mistrusting of strangers (this depends). Incredibly loyal to his rider and listens well to body language and cues.

Ace is primarily ridden bareback and without a bridle. Aeron does not and has never enjoyed the feeling of saddles or using bridles, and would rather ride close contact with the horse while holding onto the mane. This, at first, spooked Ace as Aeron is a very cold entity and feeling that on his back was a scary sensation. Afterwards, though, he grew used to the drop in temperature and feels little of the cold when he has his woolies.

Ace is kept the same as in the image. He gets extensive woolies during colder periods and sheds all of it as well as is trimmed down to his regular appearance.
