ID-0089: Torchlight

Don't let the perpetually pinned ears fool you - this pony is nothing short of a sweetheart. Torchlight, or 'Torchie' as he's affectionately known on the yard, would bend over backwards for some forehead scratches and the three stale mints in your pocket. Though he can come across standoffish around new people and horses, he quickly warms up to them and will happily spend time, ears still back, in the company of others. 

His antics often get a quiet chuckle out of his rider Thomas, who's been told by nearly everyone who knows them that he and Torchlight could not be a more perfectly matched pair. From afar, the two of them look intimidating- Torchlight's default grumpy expression mirrors Thomas's sullen resting face. Thankfully, Thomas's easy smile is quick to dispel the feeling, and a quick scratch on Torchlight's withers is enough to convince most people of his sweet nature.
