Trout (or Fish, as he is affectionately nicknamed) is the pranciest little pony you ever did see, trotting around behind Hawley, Pegasus, or Turtle to nip at their heels and scurry away before being truly noticed. He is very willing to work with people, for some reward of course, and will often gently nuzzle at any hands that are in his vicinity. He knows a few tricks, including coming when he's called, and is very exuberant and confident in anything he is asked to do. As the name implies, he also enjoys playing in water, whether he just paws at it or fully submerges himself.
Trout only truly gets the woolies in winter, but his tail is often kept cut short to keep it cleaner. His mane doesn't tend to grow much longer than it is in the image above, and is a bit poofier or wavier, like a typical pony's mane. He's still young, so not quite filled out yet, and delegated to only doing groundwork.
