[Jasper Claim Attempt] Another Friend?

Eden rode out that brisk morning to survey another teddy cob herd, in hopes of finding a sweet friend to bring home not only for herself, but their newest Thoroughbred Romeo.   Romeo was brought along on the ride again to give the young Thoroughbred a break from his racing training and let him take in new environments.  Romeo sniffed the cool air before they headed out on a relaxing scenic ride. The wildlife such as the birds and deer were active - the deer being enough to give Romeo pause as he watched them curiously before the deer bounded out of sight and they continued their trek up to a semi-wild Teddy herd the locals had told them about.  The further they got, the more grateful she was for dressing warm in a pair of warm jodphurs, thermal long sleeve, and tossed a jacket over that. She'd pulled her red hair into a ponytail to keep it out of her eyes as they neared the first grazing grounds that the herd used regularly. 

The grazing grounds they came across was beautiful, covered in lush green grass and surrounded by forest with mountains looming in the background. Just a picturesque scene that Eden wanted to stay in for a while. The herd here was small, a couple horses of various colors and patterns yet one in particular seemed to catch both of their eyes. A Palomino Tobiano Gelding walked their way, brown eyes bright and trusting as he got closer and stopped where he was. 'Standing at what? Probably 11 hands?' Eden wondered to herself a she climbed off of Romeo, who stood at 16.3 and towered over the gelding with ease. Yet Romeo was all attention and wanting to meet this newcomer in hopes of making friends. 

Eden's boots crunched in the grass as she eased forward slowly, talking softly to the gelding - who only seemed to walk a little closer at her voice. "Good boy." She praised as he sniffed her hand and moved close enough for her to gently pet. Romeo eased forward to bump noses with the gelding before he eased forward - the gelding came up to Romeo's chest and in comparison Romeo was a giant. Romeo offered a nicker, trying to make friends with this little gelding and surprisingly the little gelding nickered back. Romeo tried scratching the gelding back and in return the gelding scratched Romeo's barrel. 

Eden smiled at such a sweet sight. Her eyes darting down at her phone to see the members of the herd that had been identified and 'named' - she scrolled until she found the picture of the sweet Palomino Gelding that had been identified as '0256 - Jasper'. She smiled as he put her phone away and fished the silver bells from her pocket. They were adorned with purple ribbon and she could only hope that the bells would stay in for Jasper to come home with them. But only fate would tell that story. She fastened the bells to Jaspers tail, the purple popping with Jasper's golden coat. Romeo sniffed and nickered at his newfound friend as Eden came to mount - Eden liked to think it was Romeo telling Jasper bye as the gelding nickered back. She spun Romeo around and they started the trek back to the barn and her mind kept coming back to the little paint pony that was so sweet and trusting. With some luck, she hoped that Jasper could accompany them back to Wyoming.
