Pip attempt 2!
The lavender stallion still held the bell in his mouth, his jaw tightly clasped around the shiny thing, so tiny that she feared one wrong swing of his head would send it barreling down his throat. But, as delicate as his hold was, it was firm. He experiments with jingling with the bell, the bright tone of the silver thing creating almost some kind of music in the forest's quieteness and serenity. He seemed endlessly amused by it; honestly, she would be too if she were a horse in the wild. If all she ever heard were the neighs of others and the chirps of birds and all she ever saw was the forest beyond, something as shiny and as distinct and foreign as a bell would capture her attention for hours too. He seemed like a curious stallion then, a classic trait of a Teddy Cob, she mused.
The bell shone so brightly against his pelt as well, complimenting his pale colors rather nicely; she wonders if he could tell as well. A part of her wondered if this was the horse equivalent of a pop star, seeing as how he almost flaunts his perfect mane and wooly coat. It's like he just knew. Must be popular with the mares- or stallions, who knows!
A wide smile, as bright as the bell he jingled so curiously, spread across her face. It was an endearing sight to watch a horse simply have goofy fun; she wouldn't go as far as to say he trusted the two, but this is definitely winning his favor, if not his tolerance, at the very least.
"He's a funny guy, isn't he?" She whispers to her uncle, careful as not to spook him. He may like the sound of a bell, but who knows how he is around the sound of a human voice. Her uncle laughs under his breath, a quiet, hushed thing that could barely be heard above the rapid jingling of the bell. It seems the stallion has tried jngling it harder to make newer noises. A quick learner too, quite a clever boy he is. Clever and pretty; a horrible combination for any human who would want to spoil him in the future. And, there seemed to be plenty good reason to spoil him as well. Despite the amount of head banging he partook in, it just took one shoot of the breeze to make his hair perfect again, flying through the wind like a flag and perfectly reorienting his mane. If any strand were out of place, she couldn't tell. The breeze even removed his mane from his face! How was it even possible for a horse to look like it should star in a shampoo commercial! He's even gone and closed his eyes to really complete the majestic look. Pretty in pink he sure was; he owned it.
Her uncle raised her eyebrows at the scene unfolding before him. The quiet, contemplation on his face would have been poignant if not for the rapid jingling of bells in the background. Somehow, he's also made the bell louder. A reminder for her, if they even take this stallion home, that he were to be stalled far, far, far away from their house. She could already imagine the ringing throughout the night.
"Sure is. Weird guy, but it seems every Teddy is a character of their own," He remarks, bringing to her mind all the Teddy Cobs they had back at their own stables as well, each one of them having their own weird quirks that made them different from the horse stalled right next to them.
"I know my plan worked and all, but, what do we do now?" She looks over to her uncle for reassurance, but he seems just as contemplative as he was before. But, his eyebrows raised and his eyes lightened up and she has known him long enough to know that means he's got an idea; and his ideas were usually pretty good.
"Do you happen to have any more bells on you?" He inquires.
"Um... let me see," she digs her hand into her pockets, fingertips reaching for anything that's silver and cold to the touch. She didn't remember bringing one, but these overalls have pretty long and deep pockets, she would not be surprised if she can dig up a bell she forgot the day before in here, especially considering her own messy nature. And, before she could register it, the sound of a bell rang from her pocket.
The stallion seemed to have remembered there were two humans in front of him, stopping his shaking entirely to look at the two of them. Her uncle looked over at her and back at the stallion. With a slight jerk of his head, she knew what to do.
Slowly, she pulled out the bell from her pocket, careful as to not be too sudden in case they were to startle the stallion in front of them. But, he continued to only stare at the two, his curiosity seemingly pricked. She held another bell in her hand, this one a bright gold instead of silver with a red ribbon attached to it.
"Do you want another one?"
