Russell claim

Cole had found himself at the teddy cob claiming event one frosty morning, at the recommendation of his classmate and friend Khrysteenah. There wasn't a single expectation he had going into this, and he wasn't even sure that he'd even go home with a pony at all anyway. Cole made sure his trailer was prepared in the event any chosen ponies kept their bell ribbons on the entire time, and he had chosen his colour: a maroon-ish mauve. It would go perfectly with his loshenka Soren's burgundy colour.

He began to walk towards the pen the ponies were contained in, his gaze scanning for any that piqued his interest. There was a red mare grazing with a couple of other mares. Cole adored her simple liver chestnut coat and socks, and in his opinion, her little bobtail and short and choppy yet thick mane were to die for. He made his mind up; that mare was the one he wanted to bring home with him.

Cole approached the mare at a steady walk, trying to appear at least somewhat disinterested in the semi-feral pony. She turned her head and pricked her ears at his footsteps, letting out a small whinny. He chuckled to himself and stuck a hand out. The mare immediately approached him with curiosity, letting out several big huffs as she sniffed him, and then lipped at him. Cole knew this was the start of something special, and he thought of how this could grow into a strong bond if she ended up coming home with him.
