She’s a real bunny to me

Going for a walk in the meadow with your little puppy, you didnt expect to see much. In fact you had actually forgotten that now it was the time of the year where the teddy cob herds were roaming around more often and people tried to get their claims in. You were just humming, focused on your little puppy as he sniffed everything on the ground that looked ever so slightly interesting "If you continue like this we will take hours to get home." You mumbled, but it was cute, you loved spending time with your dog. Eventually you paused and looked up as you heard a few horse sounds "Wait.." You muttered as you walked up a small hill, just to almost bump into a herd of teddies "Oh my gosh-" You whispered to yourself, you had been waiting for a chance to get a pony, but you werent actively chasing it. You carefully tied your pups leash to a broken fence part, luckily your dog is a very behaved little guy and silently sat down as he tilted his head, watching you "Be a good boy and wait there okay?" You said as you now approached the herd.

A few ponies had noticed you already, some moved a little away and some didn't seem phased at all. You desperately tried to think on how to decide which pony to go for. After a few minutes you sighed, there was no way that your indecisive brain could pick one of these pretty ponies.. you sat down in the grass for a moment and decided to just watch thwm for now. Maybe you'd be able to decide later? Lost in thoughts you didnt notice a pony slowly approaching you, walking over before starting to groom your hair. Thats when you realized and almoat flinched for a second "Wh- hello??" You said and just looked at the fluffy roan pony that was now looking at you. You took a moment before reaching out with your hand "And who are you pretty lady hm?" You asked as the pony nibbled slightly on your fingertips, hoping you might have a treat for it "I'm sorry, I only have dog treats. I dont think they're too good for you." You said before thinking fir a moment "I do have.. two other things for you though." As if the pony understood, it ever so slightly tilted its head, curiously. You zipped open your bag and pulled out the bell ribbon that had been buried under a few things and.. "Oh well thats not what I was looking for. How did that get there?" You muttered as you pulled out a headband with bunny ears. Must be from the costume event you were on last week. You probably forgot it in your bag. The pony now seemed extra interested for some reason, pushing its head against your arm a few times "What? Is that of interest?" You asked in confusion. You hesitated for a moment before trying something you thought might look cute. You put the headband behind the ponies ears, it now looked like a bunny. One that got a sudden growth boost.. you chuckled as the pony nodded it's head. She seemed to like it "I mean if you really wish you can keep it." You said before starting to tie the bell ribbon into the ponies hair "I choose you." You said with a smile as the ponies soft nose leaned into your hand
