Tartarus Frozen Over

"It seems Thorin (Tartarus) has his way of always throwing surprises. When we bred him to a blue roan, there was a bit of a shock when the resulting filly came out chestnut! If we hadn't known he threw chestnuts when bred with other black-based mares, we would have suspected she was an oopsie baby. However she is absolutely wonderful and we could have not asked for a more beautiful and endearing mare to take the mantle of Thorin's legacy. 

While her reigstered name may have to do with the beast guarding Tartarus, her barn name is Melinoë or just Mel for short. We have amazing plans for this girl! We hope you're as excited as we are to see where she goes in both showing and furthering her father's legacy!"
