🍀Feeling A little Lucky🐞
Kalliope sighed looking through the Teddy cobs, so many stunning horses it was hard to choose. It was her first time choosing one for Elysium stables, and she was hoping it would go well. She looked down at the amaranth ribbon in her hands and the custom heart bell her stable had made for claiming Teddy cobs. It gave the softest and sweetest ring when jingled, almost like a soft bird song. She walked through the crowds and herds looking, softly pondering her choices. And then as she strayed from the crowds momentarily, there he was. Laying silently and comfortably in a field of clovers. The stallion sniffed at the clovers nibbling a few as a small snack. He slowly rose his head at her, tilting it slightly at her curiously as he chewed. His little poof tail swished making it almost look like a little pompom, causing Kalliope to giggle. "Aren't you such a cutie."
She opened the gate stepping into the green field, and closing it securely behind her. "Hello," Kalliope said moving towards the Teddy cob. Step by step she came closer and closer. Kalliope held her breath as she offered him her hand. The stallion sniffed and nibbled slightly at the bell in her hands. "I'm feeling a bit lucky today, what about you?" She gave him a soft scratch under the chin which earned her a soft nicker from him. She ran her soft fingers through his mane admiring his beautiful chestnut coloration and the contrast of the splash markings.
Kneeling next to him in the clovers she gathered his mane together and began to tie the bow and bell. She softly whispered a prayer of hope which the blue sky seemed to sweep away and rise up within the clouds that towered over them. The stallion nudged her for another pet, she happily obliged. "I imagine you'd like some more scratches for being so polite in letting me put my bell on you?" He gave a happy nudge again. Softly she laughed and began to stroke and give him a nice scratch along his neck. The bell rang softly as she bushed against it briefly. "Here's to hoping, and here's to a little luck."
